Emily: Hi, Jack! How was your day today?

Jack: Hi, Emily! It was good, thanks. I treated myself to a nice lunch at the new cafe on the corner.

Emily: That sounds lovely. I also went shopping and bought myself a new dress.

Jack: Oh, nice! Did you pick it out yourself?

Emily: Yes, I did. I tried it on at the store and fell in love with it.

Jack: It's always fun to spoil ourselves every now and then, right?

Emily: Absolutely! We all deserve to treat ourselves every once in a while.

Emily: ¡Hola, Jack! ¿Cómo estuvo tu día hoy?

Jack: ¡Hola, Emily! Estuvo bien, gracias. Me di un gusto con un buen almuerzo en el nuevo café de la esquina.

Emily: Suena encantador. Yo también fui de compras y me compré un vestido nuevo.

Reflexive Pronouns

Los pronombres reflexivos en inglés se utilizan cuando el sujeto y el objeto de la acción son la misma persona o cosa. Se construyen añadiendo "-self" o "-selves" al pronombre personal correspondiente.

Ejemplos:

1. I hurt myself when I fell off the bike. (Me lastimé cuando me caí de la bicicleta.)

2. She talks to herself when she's alone. (Ella habla consigo misma cuando está sola.)

3. We need to take care of ourselves first. (Tenemos que cuidar de nosotros mismos primero.)

4. They blame themselves for the mistake. (Ellos se culpan a sí mismos por el error.)

5. He is always thinking about himself. (Él siempre está pensando en sí mismo.)

6. You can do it by yourself. (Puedes hacerlo tú mismo.)

7. The cat cleans itself by licking its fur. (El gato se limpia lamiendo su pelaje.)

8. She dressed herself and went to the party. (Ella se vistió y fue a la fiesta.)

9. They enjoyed the concert by themselves. (Disfrutaron del concierto solos.)

10. He looked at himself in the mirror and smiled. (Se miró a sí mismo en el espejo y sonrió.)
