Embedded Questions
Las "embedded questions" son preguntas que están incluidas dentro de una oración más larga. Estas preguntas se construyen de la siguiente manera:
1. Utilizamos la estructura de una oración afirmativa o negativa, seguida de la pregunta incrustada sin invertir el sujeto y el verbo.
2. Comenzamos la pregunta incrustada con una palabra interrogativa como "what", "when", "where", "why", "how", etc.
A continuación, se presentan 10 ejemplos de embedded questions:
1. I don't know where he lives.
2. She asked me how I was feeling.
3. Can you tell me what time it is?
4. I wonder if they will come to the party.
5. He doesn't know who took his book.
6. Do you know why she is upset?
7. She is trying to figure out how to solve the problem.
8. They are curious where we are going on vacation.
9. Can you explain what happened yesterday?
10. I'm not sure if he will pass the exam.
