El comparativo de los adjetivos

El comparativo de los adjetivos se utiliza para comparar dos cosas o personas. En inglés, normalmente se forma agregando "-er" al final del adjetivo o usando "more" antes del adjetivo si este tiene dos o más sílabas.

Por ejemplo:

1. Tall (alto) se convierte en taller (más alto). So: "John is taller than Mike." (John es más alto que Mike.)

2. Short (bajo) se convierte en shorter (más bajo). So: "Sara is shorter than Anna." (Sara es más baja que Anna.)

3. Fast (rápido) se convierte en faster (más rápido). So: "This car is faster than that one." (Este auto es más rápido que ese.)

4. Big (grande) se convierte en bigger (más grande). So: "This dog is bigger than my cat." (Este perro es más grande que mi gato.)

5. Small (pequeño) se convierte en smaller (más pequeño). So: "A mouse is smaller than a cat." (Un ratón es más pequeño que un gato.)

6. Intelligent (inteligente) se convierte en more intelligent (más inteligente). So: "She is more intelligent than her brother." (Ella es más inteligente que su hermano.)

7. Beautiful (hermoso) se convierte en more beautiful (más hermoso). So: "This painting is more beautiful than that one." (Esta pintura es más hermosa que esa.)

8. Interesting (interesante) se convierte en more interesting (más interesante). So: "This book is more interesting than the other." (Este libro es más interesante que el otro.)

9. Expensive (caro) se convierte en more expensive (más caro). So: "The phone is more expensive than the tablet." (El teléfono es más caro que la tableta.)
