Expresiones de cantidad (a lot of, many, much, a few, a little)
Las expresiones de cantidad en inglés se utilizan para indicar cuánta cantidad de algo hay. Cada una tiene su uso específico dependiendo de si hablamos de sustantivos contables o incontables.
A lot of: Se usa tanto con sustantivos contables como incontables. Indica una gran cantidad.
Ejemplo: There are a lot of books on the table.
Ejemplo: I have a lot of money.
Many: Se utiliza solo con sustantivos contables en plural. Indica una cantidad grande, pero no tan general como "a lot of".
Ejemplo: There are many students in the class.
Ejemplo: I don’t have many friends.
Much: Se utiliza solo con sustantivos incontables. Se usa en preguntas y oraciones negativas.
Ejemplo: How much water do you drink?
Ejemplo: I don’t have much time.
