El pasado continuo
El pasado continuo se utiliza para hablar de acciones que estaban en progreso en un momento específico del pasado.
Se forma con el verbo "to be" en pasado (was/were) + el verbo principal en su forma -ing.
La estructura es: Sujeto + was/were + verbo -ing.
Ejemplos:

(Estaba viendo televisión cuando llamaste.)
2. She was reading a book at 8 PM.
(Ella estaba leyendo un libro a las 8 PM.)
3. They were playing soccer when it started to rain.
(Estaban jugando fútbol cuando empezó a llover.)
