Past Perfect Continuous
El Past Perfect Continuous se utiliza para hablar sobre una acción que comenzó en el pasado y continuó hasta otro punto en el pasado. Se construye con "had been" + verbo en gerundio.
Por ejemplo:
- She had been studying for two hours before her friends arrived. (Ella había estado estudiando durante dos horas antes de que llegaran sus amigos.)
- He had been working at the company for five years before he got promoted. (Él había estado trabajando en la empresa durante cinco años antes de ser ascendido.)
