Presente simple

El presente simple en inglés se utiliza para hablar sobre situaciones o acciones habituales, estados permanentes o verdades universales. Para formar el presente simple, simplemente se agrega la forma base del verbo (infinitivo sin "to") en la tercera persona del singular se agrega "s" o "es" al final del verbo.

Ejemplos:

I eat breakfast every morning. (Yo desayuno todas las mañanas.)

She lives in London. (Ella vive en Londres.)

He works as a teacher. (Él trabaja como profesor.)

We play soccer on Saturdays. (Nosotros jugamos fútbol los sábados.)

They go to the gym three times a week. (Ellos van al gimnasio tres veces a la semana.)

The sun rises in the east. (El sol sale por el este.)

Water boils at 100 degrees Celsius. (El agua hierve a 100 grados Celsius.)

The Earth revolves around the sun. (La Tierra gira alrededor del sol.)

We use the present simple tense to describe situations or actions that happen regularly.

They watch movies every weekend. (Ellos ven películas todos los fines de semana.)

She always brushes her teeth before going to bed. (Ella siempre se cepilla los dientes antes de ir a dormir.)
