En el caso de los verbos de percepción, el presente continuo se utiliza para expresar lo que se está observando o percibiendo en el presente.

Estos verbos se refieren a los sentidos y emociones, como ver, escuchar, oír, sentir, notar, etc.

Para formar el presente continuo con verbos de percepción, se utiliza la estructura:

Sujeto + verbo auxiliar "to be" (am, is, are) + verbo principal con la terminación -ing + complementos.
